Not bad for the price

I have now been here for the past 5 months and haven't had any major complaints. I am in a remodeled apartment that really has been comfy and great. They did go cheap on the appliances and my bathroom could definitely use a new tub but other than that the neighbors are quiet, the onsite manager is very helpful and they have responded to both a plumbing emergency and maintenance request right away. I have also loved that our parking area and walkways have been shoveled and plowed before even the... main roads are done! It sounds like the most recent management has stepped up their game since the past reviews :)

Nice neighborhood, Bad Management

We have lived here for 10 months now. When we moved in there were problems with the basement floor apartments flooding, and heating system being broken. Management has not taken care of the heating system problem, with either the furnaces not working or the old vents expelling unsanitary amounts of dust. Everything was cheaply done to offer a "renovated" apartment experience, we literally moved in and the apartment was full of dust and debris from the previous tenant and the re-modelers. A quick... example of the cheapness, if you have anything touch the wall with the slightest amount of pressure, it will adhere and remove the cheaply and hastily applied paint job. Expect to be treated poorly by the direct management, the service hotline has kind representatives but the actual management will belittle you at any chance they can so that you seem culpable. I have told them multiple times my furnace hasn't been working for over a month now, and no one has come out to fix the furnace, it is mid-December. I have a lot of complaints and advice, but to sum it up since I don't have the time, don't move into these apartments, possibly any apartment managed by concept property management. I have lived in apartments for ten years, this one year at Parkview apartments has been the worst year in an apartment in my life, an absolute embarrassing blunder. Just one quick enlightenment of perspective, in my last apartment, the heater broke at 9:00 at night on a Sunday. I called my manager the next day and he was furious we let ourselves freeze for the night and called out the repairman first thing, stating," I would have had the repairman come last night!". That is the type of concern and care you should expect from a landlord and management.

Park View Apartments

These apartments look awful on the outside. The hallways were recently redone and the apartments are being updated. We love the neighborhood and the price. But we just got new managers and they are AWFUL. It took them 10 days to get our water heater fixed. We told them on Friday it was broken and they didn't even come look until Tuesday and it was a week later before they got someone out to fix it. They refuse to answer any calls texts or maintenance requests. We are looking to move soon.
