Sugarmont Apartments & Townhomes

I have lived her for a year and I LOVE IT! The staff are incredibly responsive and kind. They add to the many pluses about this building.

The building is great. The cleaning staff do an excellent job keeping the property clean. The maintenance staff help quickly and do an efficient job.

The amenities are such a plus. There are a ton of outdoor areas to sit, BBQs to cook at, there is a pool, a hot tub, a couple of firepits too. There is also an outdoor TV with seating to have a outside... gathering. There are a couple of nice lounges as well. There is an art room, onsite storage, and lots of bike storage. The parking is vast as well.

There is a co-work space for working from home. It has a handful of cubicles, smaller, and one large conference room. A pool table and a couple other games to take a break. The space also has a printer and coffee machine. Free Wi-Fi as well when you sign up to use the co-work space.

One of the best things about this space is its location. It is close to so many places within walking distance: Wholefoods, Barnes & Noble, banks, Cinemark, vet clinics, restaurants, Target, Nordstrom Rack, Petco. All within a block or two. While its close to a lot of things there is not a lot of noise.

The apartment itself is amazing! I have floor to ceiling windows. Hardwood (or hardwood laminate) flooring, tons of space, nice appliances, and good closet space.

When you select an apartment, it’s important to know what it’s like to deal with the management company. The management team at Sugarmont is incredibly pleasant, super efficient, and they get stuff done. In particular, Jess is always such a delight to interact with. I give the management team 5+ stars all day long.

I would not wish this place on my worst enemy. There are no amenities, and no timeline on which they might eventually be done, yet we pay full rent and the management shrugs it all off. Construction noise is torture, lights turn on and off in the middle of the night due to cheap electrical work, and worst of all are the security concerns. The "controlled access" garage is always open and the building is never locked. When the residents complained the management laughed at us and told us its too... inconvenient for them to secure the property. They keep leasing new units even though they can't finish anything for the people who already live there. This is the worst management company I have ever encountered in my life. Read More

They rushed to build the rooms to charge full rent and then failed to deliver the amenities that justified the price. If you enjoy peace and quiet or work from home, this is not the place for you. Construction starts early and goes all day. The hallway noise is very loud. I moved here for a better work-from-home environment, and it’s worse. Overhead lights turn on randomly throughout the night. Their approach is to patch the issue after multiple maintenance requests instead of fixing the problem... . The windows look cool but let water in every time it rains. They forgot to make the roof waterproof above the gym, so you get to work out with buckets full of water and an exposed ceiling. Packages get lost, and a two-day delivery can take two weeks for someone to figure out how to get through the door to drop it off.
