Better if you Avoid this Apartment
Before you consider leasing an apartment in Ashborough, take note of the following negative aspects of the property:
1. Prepare for constant disturbance from the upper floor, making it difficult to focus on work or get a good night's sleep. Even the sound of footsteps is clearly audible, making it an unfavorable place for remote work.
2. Enjoying a meal on the balcony is impossible due to the constant shower of dust particles and dog fur falling from above. The wide gaps between the balcony... floorboards allow everything to fall through.
3. Opting for the 4th floor to avoid the aforementioned issues might seem like a solution, but without an elevator, you'll have to carry all your packages and groceries by yourself. Moving in and out of the apartment will also be challenging.
4. Stains cover the corridors and stairs, indicating a lack of cleaning and maintenance. Trash cans, wrappers, and waste papers are scattered around, giving the impression that nobody cares about the cleanliness of the common areas.
5. The AC/Heating units in each apartment emit a constant loud humming noise that takes time to get accustomed to.
6. The gated community is nothing more than a deceptive facade. Numerous cars and vehicles wait outside the gates until someone opens them. It's easy to enter the apartment community without a key, as they have a walk-in option available for anyone. Additionally, there is no monitoring of who enters or exits the community, whether on foot or in a vehicle.
7. Safety from fire-related hazards is questionable. In a recent incident, a fire alarm in one unit buzzed for an hour while the resident was absent. It was only after someone reported the issue that a leasing office staff member arrived and opened the door, revealing a smoke-filled apartment. If they had a reliable fire alarm system, the fire department would have been automatically notified.
These are just some of the reasons why I would not recommend Ashborough Apartments.
