Newport Lake Apartments

When I moved in in May 2021, I could actually afford to live here. This place will increase the rent every year like clockwork. They will make sure you cannot afford to live here by your second year. I’ve been here for three years. I have never seen them upgrade anything but my rent has constantly went up every year. They don’t even upgrade or replace these early 2000’s appliances in the apartment.

After living here for some time now I can say without a doubt. The manager is condescending, disrespectful, and unlawful.
She will have your car towed without proper signs up. In this place the quality of life doesn't matter. During my stay a car got shot up and still they raised the rent. If you have a problem they will blow it off or tell you to go fix it yourself. They won't give you the number to the corporate office. On August 7th my washing machine stopped working. As of August 31st it is still down and the office refuses to fix it saying they are only doing emergency work. Well apparently the empty apartment below me needing to be renovated qualifies as an emergency. No compensation for not having a washer either. I would not recommend this place unless your only other option is being homless. Whats worse is the management company for the place doesn't return calls or answer their phone.

During my nearly 2 yrs. of residency, I witnessed a car being shot up in the parking lot, Big Dogs of all breeds and sizes, Youth Gangs and attempted break ins, the unstocked lake is Dead. No fish, just turtles and frogs. Disrespectful neighbors that are very noisey, they blast loud music ,slam unit doors, fight each other, the smell of urine and marijuana in the hallways and coming from the units.
