An OK place

Several issues upon moving in, I had to solve them myself. Carpets were FILTHY, yet I was told they were cleaned and I’d have to deal with stains. Pool just opened in 2022, after being closed for 2+ years, yet rent increased even when all amenities weren’t available. Come home after 9pm? Expect to park far away from your apt. Visitor spots are always taken up by renters. They should ban pets, nobody cleans up after their dogs. Never had a problem with theft or noise, so that’s the good part.

Very Quiet. Lease should be updated.

Don’t get me wrong, I love my place but the rules are outdated. It’s 2022 and I completely understand people being against smoking but it’s legal, and it doesn’t make sense to be surrounded around wildlife, nature, have a balcony and CANNOT smoke in the neighborhood, on my balcony, or in my home. Everyone is different but I’ve lived in California where things like that doesn’t affect your living status. Also EVERYONE smokes here... So it makes no sense to have a rule, put notices on everyone’s... door, when 75% of the tenants are smokers. I don’t think people should be at jeopardy of being homeless because they want to relax in the home they work and pay for. If you are a free spirit choose a different neighborhood where you neighbors will at least interact with you a little and you don’t feel like you being policed in your own home. Other than that I love my place. If it was updated for the amount and less outdated rules it would be perfect. ALSO very FEW VISITOR SPOTS.. your car will get towed and it’s $150 to get out so have your company park on the street or walk.

Parking

The staff is great! but you can’t really have visitors because they have only a few visitors parking spaces. It’s really discouraging cause I literally just moved in less than a week ago !and my family comes to see me from a long distance and to not find a parking space for them is embarrassing for the amount of rent i pay. I also found out they charge an obscene amount of money for a washer and dryer to be in your unit. Especially when it’s just one person who does wash clothes too often and no... laundry facilities on site .

Very pleased with my new home!

I am so glad I decided to make One Central my new home! I’ve lived here for about a month now and have been very happy. The maintenance team is phenomenal with a very fast turn around time! Jessica was great to work with in the leasing process. She is very responsive to all of your questions! I highly recommend choosing One Central as your next home!

COMMUNICATION IS AWFUL!!

My boyfriend and I applied November 9, 2020. We got approved the same day. We went jumped through hoops to get this place. We even told our current landlord that we were leaving so he could find new tenants and he did. We have a Husky and when we told Jessica that she said “he is not on the breed restriction list” and “we have quite a few huskies in our complex!”. Our lease is up on December 27th and we need to find a home before then due to the fact that Jessica told us that our dog was not on... the restrictions list BUT she called me today to tell me that he is on the restriction list and suggested we “leave our dog behind”. When we asked for our $200 back (this covered $50 for each of our applications and the $100 holding fee for the apartment) we were told we will not get the application fees back even though THEY inconvenienced US and put us in a unfortunate position.

This company is so unprofessional and frustrating. I do NOT recommend even applying here.
