Property is ok but don't expect much

The property as a whole is ok but don't expect professionalism and people eager to do the jobs you pay significant rent for. Maintenance is slow when it comes and is more likely to make excuses instead of repairs. There is no climate control outside of your apartment and your heating and ac will break. Mostly you're paying a lot for a place to keep your stuff.

Hallway always smell like weed and the building is an Inconvenient maze

I live at the 416 building. The Apartment building is super Inconvenient to get to! The door is in a back ally way and If you have large boxes or a wagon for groceries you have to walk all the way from Freemason parking garage to Boush street next to the music shop to go through the private garage. Or you could go through the entrance on Freemason, you will have to take an elevator to the 2nd floor go across two other buildings to another elevator to get to your apartment. The church put up a... gate you have to squeeze through if you want to get directly to your apartment only your person can fit through this opening. The elevators are the slowest I've ever been on. Also, having food delivered or amazon now is a nightmare, you can't have anything delivered to your door. You will need to meet delivery person downstairs. There are no helpful signs to navigate guests through this maze of an apartment which is a huge inconvenience because there are four buildings merged together as one. Also, management does not respond when you complain about drug use on your floor. Complaints go unanswered. I don't care what people do but I shouldn't have to get a contact high walking thought the hallways. It's very strong and always lingering.

Customer Service Lacking

The location of the apartments are in an excellent location. Management is terrible. Good luck getting in touch with any management at the complex. I have found they only way to get an answer for any questions from management is to physically catch them at the office, thus resulting in time off from work. They will not return emails on the resident portal nor return calls left on their voicemail. I have dealt with this poor customer service since August 2017. I would hope Druker & Falk would... recognize this and place some good customer service managers in the office.

Great location - scary/awful experience

My husband and I were new to the Ghent area when we moved into Metro on Granby. The location is fantastic, and Jacob in the front office is absolutely wonderful. We moved into the 411 building which is older, but had bigger floor plans. We had a "1 bedroom loft", but it was essentially a studio apartment with partial walls around the bedroom. Everything was great until our first weekend there. Granby Theater plays loud house music(lots of bass) late into the morning every weekend(one night it... went until past 4AM). I'm fine with noise, and I expected noise being in the city-I did not expect music so loud and so full of bass that it would make the glasses in our cabinets vibrate.
The building itself is supposed to be secured with key fob entry. At one point our key fobs stopped working all together... Several times we went to leave the building and when we pushed the handle on the door to open it, it wouldn't budge. I mean wouldn't budge at all - it was like pushing on a wall. After they "fixed it", the door stopped closing completely.
On the topic of security: on New Year's Eve, we had someone come through our hallway at about 4 in the morning and rip the wreath off of our front door and smash it on the ground before running off. When my husband alerted the front office and asked if they could review the security cameras in the hallway to see what happened/who had demolished our wreath, he was told they don't have access to the cameras. It was just a wreath - we weren't going to get the police involved so we just let it drop. Then a few months later we were both woken up at about 5-6 in the morning by a fight happening in the hallway. A man and a woman were loudly arguing and moving up and down the hallway. The woman started yelling at the man to get off of her and yelling for someone to get her gun. We called the cops immediately. We both felt uncomfortable even walking into the hallway, so we weren't able to get the best look at the two in the hall. We were, however, able to hear everything clearly to relay to the police. When the police showed up, they had to call us back to get us to come down and let them into the building! Luckily for us, the people had left the hallway and it was safe to go out there. Had it still been going on, neither my husband nor I would have felt comfortable going outside to let the police into our building...
Overall while Metro was in a great location, I couldn't recommend it to anyone after our experience.

The Place To Be!

When I was looking for a place to live, I looked at many. I finally found Metro-on-Granby and it was love at first sight. Let's start with when you first walk into the building, you will find that it is very clean and you would be greeted by very friendly staff. They are extremely helpful with any questions you may have.
Second, the ameneties are wonderful with it's own gym and yoga room on site, computer room, few outdoor patios where you can grill, and a couple of recreation rooms for the...
residents. Oh, did I mention you are walking distance from everything except a grocery store and just minutes from the interstate. I don't know about you but location is everything.
Third, the apartments themselves are quite luxurious. With at least 9 ft ceilings, granite countertops, and more. This is a pet friendly place and the residents are very friendly too.
I love my apartment! I say give this place a chance. You won't be disappointed! :)
