Listen to me when I tell you do NOT move here. The pictures are over hyped. They use sticky roll out flooring to make it look like it is updated . The maintenance team sucks they play with peoples time and patch work things. I had roaches that took them a long time to get to. Whatever I put in for maintenance reports they take a while to get to or they will come and barely check and say everything is fine even with video and picture proof. They do not send pest control to spay every month but... you pay for it.I put in a work order because it’s the middle of winter and I had no hot water . I called emergency maintenance and they said it’s not emergency unless I don’t have water at all and basically they will get to it when they get to it. I put in a pest control order on 1/14/24 they didn’t get to it til after 1/29/24 before they called someone and said that I missed the first group of spraying because other people had it even though I put multiple in. My sink is not sealed to the wood so it leaks and when I put in a work order they said it was fine even with the pictures. I had put in my work order for no hot water January 19th and they didn’t fix it until the 28th of January. I put in multiple work orders for my refrigerator for freezing my food they kept closing my work orders saying it was fine even with the pictures and videos of frozen food being shown.since January 5th I have been complaining about the fridge today as of January 31st they finally gave me a new fridge . They told me they would come at 12pm to replace my fridge he told I had to remove my own food because they couldn’t touch they didn’t call and communicate they would not make it at the 12pm mark and every time I called they said they were coming but didn’t show it got til 2:30 and they finally put the new fridge in all my food thawed. I spoke with the manager previously because my food kept freezing and how I paid my bills on time and I shouldn’t have to be left with my needs unmet when I give them their money on time. And how I am wasting my money on groceries and she stated well that’s why we make yall have renters insurance because yall can get the money back. So I called the my renters insurance to check and see if I would get the money denied. So I went to talk to the building manager and I told her I did what she said after the maintenance men lied and had my food sitting out for over two hours about all of my wasted groceries she said the problem has been rectified

Hi Shakeara, we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and we sincerely regret that it has been a frustrating and stressful one. No residents should have to deal with prolonged maintenance issues, miscommunication, or delays... in service, and we understand how upsetting it must have been to go without hot water, experience pest concerns, and deal with unresolved appliance problems. While we regret that we weren’t able to address these concerns in a more timely and effective manner, please know that your feedback is being taken seriously. We will be reviewing our processes to ensure that residents receive prompt and thorough service moving forward. Thank you again for your honesty, and we hope to have the opportunity to rebuild your trust.

After seeing the renovations I decided to apply but was told I would have to apply online and select an apartment for holding. What I overlooked and what wasn't verbally told to me while I was in the office that you have 72 hours after being approved that you could not get your holding fee back like its a house or a condo I was purchasing. They are apartments for rent. I'm sure the apartment will be filled in JULY once the apartment is renovated. After being told a manager would call me back... last Thursday cause she has a choice to refund it back to me or not never did so have called for 2 days to finally get someone on the phone to repeat the same thing about the $255 holding fee not being refundable. They don't have any signatures from me accepted the apartment and will not refund it back. I found a nicer and cheaper apartment (much bigger space) and decided not to move to Chesapeake Pointe and glad I didn't not to because of the office staff nonchalant attitudes that were given.

After living here for three years, I can confidently say that this community is the best one I have experienced so far. Both the staff and maintenance crew are friendly, efficient and hardworking.

I called the leasing office to inquire about one bedrooms. The lady that answered was so rude and disrespectful I had to end the call. Having a more professional and polite person on the phone will attract better tenants. Even though the rent is on the lower end no one should be treated with this much disrespect. Please think about your prospective tenants before hiring someone that doesn't want or need a job.
