Don't do it
Unless management has changed living here was not a good experience for me and my family. We didn't get our full security deposit back either. Everyone who lived there warned us that we wouldn't. We also paid 2 pet deposits. The reason given for keeping over 200.00 was pet damage. We paid 300.00 in pet deposits and there was no damage. We had 2 cats who were older and very trained and clean. At the time I was a professional housekeeper certified under OSHA, and I personally cleaned and steamed... cleaned all carpets before leaving. They even acknowledged that they were aware of my expertise and still kept a lot of our money.
I recently found out that they went against the law and shouldn't have done this. It's been a long time and I don't know if I can legally get that money back We paid 3 months in advance and the apt. we agreed upon wasn't the one we selected. They wanted us to pay an additional 750.00 for the one we wanted. So,if you are not in a desperate situation don't rent from these people.
