Low Rent, High Exit Fees: A Moving Irony
The only positive aspect I can mention is that it was relatively inexpensive when we first moved in. The manager promised to replace the countertop, and I also politely requested that a very squeaky fan be fixed. Unfortunately, none of these issues were addressed. Upon moving out, they charged us as much as possible, including painting all the walls, even though they were dirty when we moved in. Additionally, they billed us $300 for blinds that date back to the 90s.
The shelves inside the... kitchen cabinets were extremely dirty, and instead of cleaning them, they were simply flipped over to hide the grime. No effort was made to actually clean them. Additionally, we struggled constantly with a persistent curry smell in the apartment. Despite trying every possible solution, we eventually concluded that the only way to truly get rid of the odor was to move somewhere else.
