A Great Way to Start out in Seattle
I've been living at Jackson Greens for about 6 months now, before that I was subleasing a smaller more expensive apartment in Capitol Hill, and after that this has been a great way to integrate into Seattle. The price is affordable especially when looking at other apartments in the area and downtown. There is a bus line that goes to the University of Washington Link Light rail and from there you can get wherever you need downtown. There is also a Safeway, Target, 24 Hour Fitness, and a mall less... than 10 minutes away by car and even a relatively short walk away. There are also many things to do more north in Shoreline. I like the feeling of still being in the city but enough away from downtown to feel the comfort of being at home. As far as the apartment complex, it is unique for a Seattle apartment to have a lot where guests can park and the paid parking within the complex costs less than half of what I was paying at my smaller apartment in Capitol Hill. It's also rare for an apartment complex in Seattle to have a normal sized washer and dryer in unit. Any maintenance requests that I fill out have been taken care of in either the same day or next day. The online portal makes those requests as well as paying rent easy and stress free. In general, living at the Jackson Greens Apartments has made the transition to Seattle easy and stress free.
