Slow Responding Staff. Noisy as can be. Junkies break in often

I've been residing here for work and school for a few years, and I'm thrilled to announce that I'll be relocating this summer. Unfortunately, BonaVista is a poorly managed company that shows little concern for your well-being. The building experiences frequent break-ins by individuals struggling with addiction, and they often loiter in the lobby. The staff does not take adequate measures to address noise issues from neighboring apartments. Additionally, they may attempt to persuade you to sign a... new lease after going month-to-month, claiming it will save you money, but it often results in higher costs in the long run. Your best interests are not a priority, and even as a good tenant, you may find yourself being taken advantage of. Limited internet options are available, with the "free" internet being subpar at best. It's best to avoid this place altogether.

Can’t wait to move out of here

Honestly ending my lease here is the best decision I’ve made since moving to Seattle two years ago. Staff is cold, unfriendly, condescending, and unavailable majority of the time. If you need something fixed don’t count on them to respond right away, if at all. I went two weeks without being able
To lock my door since the pin pad died, and the toilet paper holder has been consistently broken since I moved in. Won’t be shocked if they charge me to fix it either.

Honestly save your money and...
move into a comparably priced but much larger studio apartment or 1 bedroom at another property. This place isn’t worth the money.

Not the worst, not good

Can't have your own internet (you HAVE to use the really bad community WiFi that not only is slow but randomly disconnects you all the time) and if that isn't the case, then the office people are entirely unhelpful in figuring out who you can use and how to set it up. In fact, the girl pretty much said "I don't know" when the tech was here trying to help me. You can hear everything going on in every apartment around you, which is super great (sarcasm). My bathroom has a public bathroom style... sink with no counterspace at all, making it next to useless. My apartment has the weirdest shape that makes it impossible to have my full size bed in any sort of logical spot.

Great Space to live

The rooftop is pretty cool, and the view is a bargain. Considering the local type of traffic, you couldn't ask for better. It's great, not perfect.

relax, its not a forever home. a comfortable living section.

Good for the price

It was exactly what I needed: a decent space on a tight budget. I've been happy here during my lease but plan to move at the end of it.

The concessions packages might seem difficult to understand at first but are actually pretty solid. The leasing staff was super helpful when I signed.

The photos misrepresent the common spaces. The gym is smaller than the photo but it's nice enough. The "game" area is just the lobby, not at all what I would call a real common space. The roof is nice though...
.

Unit appliances and condition are generally good.

The free/included "High-speed internet" is overall pretty good but would get either throttled or overloaded at times. Just about every night right at 9 I'd start having serious issues streaming from live sites (like Twitch). And it would happen occasionally randomly during the day. If you stream games, be ready to pay for the higher speed.

Most of the reviews mention that parking is a huge issue... This is definitely still true. With the light rail and surrounding apartment construction, it's likely to remain that way at least another year or two. I consistently found parking a few blocks west but it means you might be walking alone at night.

Anyway, overall, it's a really great transition option if that's what you need. Also probably good if you're not working from home.
