Poor Management - Constant Construction - Low Amenities
I’ve lived here for a few months now. I’ve ran into issues with neighbors, who own aggressive dogs. Management is very dismissive and will ignore complaints. There has been some sort of construction, with pallets and tarps, for half the time I’ve lived here.

I hate it here
I hate it here. It's noisy. It's dirty. They have 4 visitor spots for over 120 residences. There have been break-ins and people literally sleeping in cars in the lot. The fire alarms have legit gone off at 4AM for no reason with my neighbors and me funneling out of our apartments into the snow in our pajamas, some with their pets, while the alarms blaze in every room for 10 minutes. No all clear announcement or any communication about the fire alarms, I might add.
That brings me to the worst... part of living at 134th Street Lofts: the management.
In my experience, they are dishonest and unprofessional. They have added frivolous charges to my monthly rent like extra parking spaces, "valet" trash services, and "convenience" fees several times. It's been on me to review my bill every month, compare it to my lease, and contact them to get everything aligned. They seem perfectly happy to add charges and leave it to me to notice.
They are also perfectly happy to gaslight me about looking into the overcharges. I've been told 3 times, once for each of the above issues, that the manager would investigate and get back to me. Each time, they NEVER did. They legitimately told me directly that they'll look into my issues and call me the next day only to never follow through. I've always had to contact them multiple additional times to be charged what my lease says. Now they won't honor the one-year lease discount they offered me when I signed my lease because they changed ownership.
Like I said, I hate it here. It is the opposite of the kind of environment I want to go home to after work. I could get over the noise and the trash everywhere, but I would never live here again because of how management behaves. They will take advantage of you to get every cent they can, and they will lie to your face while doing it.

It's noisy. It's dirty. But worst of all is the management. In my experience, they are dishonest and unprofessional. They didn't honor the one-year lease discount they offered me when I signed my lease. And they gaslit me by telling me to my face that they'll look into my issues and call me only to then never actually call or return my follow-ups. And the... office is closed about 50% of the time, so good luck catching them in person.
I've been living in apartments for decades around the country, and this place has been the worst.

Horrible management, don't move here
I moved here a few months ago. My kitchen sink and dishwasher are unusable due to a plumbing issue, ITS BEEN TWO MONTHS and it's still not fixed. The people working this place are terrible. Don't move here.
