Well it was a nice place to live until.....
Well, there was a great team of employees. When I first moved in I was thinking twice when it was lease renewal. When it was lease renewal they had just switched staff and the property manager and maintenance staff was outstanding. I could really tell they took pride in the community and their positions. Whenever I had any kind of issues the property manager, Vanessa would take care of it and I know she would follow up with me. The Maintenance man, Mark was outstanding also. That was one guy... that took pride in his work and went the extra mile to get things fixed while also taking time to get to know the residents. Vanessa and Mark were a great team! I have noticed they took pride in the property and the well being of the people living at Kenosha Commons.
But recently thing have changed and changed a lot. Gorman & Company sent Vanessa to another apartment community within the company. I was very disappointed and could not understand why they would move someone from a community that did great at. But then, on the other hand, I was thrilled they did not move Mark!! As to why they would break a great team up was beyond me. New management came in and I was very concerned. This new property manager Renee is very unprofessional. She never calls you back and I can't tell you how many times I have seen her when she is actually on the property, and she acts like she has never met me. Can not even remember my name! She is like a deer in the headlights. A week ago I got some bad news that she terminated the best maintenance man, Mark. Unbelievable. He was a hard worker, always working, and working, and working. Now we are left with this deer in the headlights property manager. I just can believe Gorman and Company would allow her to terminate Mark. Like I always say good thing always come to an end. I will be leaving at the end of this lease!!!!!!

Property Manager at Kenosha Commons responded to this review
The Kenosha Commons Staff take pride in their property and strive to deliver excellent customer service. Work orders and grounds get done on a daily basis, and our Leasing Specialist is on site 5 days a week to do follow up with residents and to... meet with them. While the Property Manager is not there on a daily basis, she does make herself available via phone, email or an in person meeting when requested from the residents. We encourage you to come tour Kenosha Commons and meet the staff, see for yourself how wonderful we treat our residents and community
