This place is way overpriced

This apartment is TOO SMALL and way too expensive. Good location but not worth the $$$. Management was also slow to repair broken faucet.

Not so great property management

apartment is pretty nice and beautiful place, no complaints really. heat in the building is very good for milwaukee winters.
Managers are very helpful and courteous, but the property management is very bad .. shoreline's front desk folks are very rude and its like talking to a wall sometimes. there is a disconnect between manager in building and the property management.
There is no communication between Managers and Shoreline management.. total mess

Best value for your money in/near Downtown Milwaukee

The Good:

Marshall Hall is an older type building, with 96 units on 9 floors. With that said, this building is well taken care of. Some of the apartments have views of Lake Michigan. All the utilities are included, and there is no extra cost if you install/use air conditioner(s). They use radiator heat that you can turn off. You can currently get up to 50Mbps internet from the cable company.

The on-site managers do their best to help everyone with their individual needs. You don't hear...
any of the neighbors because the floors and walls are fairly thick.

Their is an onsite laundry room that takes quarters in the machines.

The Bad:

Sometimes the elevators break down, and you have to wait until they get reset. Also, the hallways are often warm in the summer. The heat is often too warm in the winter to leave the windows fully closed.

Overall, this is a great place to live.
