Nice area but….
The area is quite nice to live in, offering a pleasant environment and convenient location, but the buildings here are cheaply constructed. Several issues consistently arise, making the experience less than ideal.
**Dryer Issues:**
The dryer frequently fails to properly dry clothes, which can be incredibly frustrating and time-consuming.
**Air Conditioning Problems:**
There is only one cheap, noisy wall air conditioning unit installed in one of the bedrooms. If you live in an upstairs... unit, be prepared to deal with excessive heat. The air conditioning system will constantly run to try to keep the space cool, leading to a significant increase in your electric bill.
**Poor Construction Quality:**
The drywall tape often peels off during the winter months due to moisture infiltration from the roof, indicating a lack of proper insulation and waterproofing.
**Maintenance Delays:**
Maintenance requests can take an unreasonably long time to be addressed. For instance, it took four months to get my microwave fixed, which is far from acceptable for something so essential.
**Community Rules:**
The community has some strange and restrictive rules about parking and what you can hang on your balcony. These regulations can be limiting and inconvenient.
**Lack of Amenities:**
The complex lacks an apartment community center or any areas to socialize, play, or host gatherings. Your small balcony is the only space available for such activities, which can be quite limiting, especially if you enjoy hosting events or having more room for leisure activities.
**Quiet Hours:**
The quiet hours are enforced very early, which might be unsuitable for those with varying schedules or who prefer more flexibility in their living environment.
Overall, while the location is nice, the numerous issues with the building's quality, maintenance, lack of amenities, and community rules can significantly detract from the living experience here. Consider these factors carefully before deciding to move in.
