Poorly staffed and poorly managed
All in all just poorly staffed and ran. They will take forever getting to your requests and give you no notice or plan to schedule, to the point that if you get a water leak, you'll end up with mold, and they won't be very concerned about it. They might use spraypaint in an unventilated space, and gas you out of your apartment with fumes, while also getting paint on everything other than what they're painting. You might see a few roaches. Do not get a 1st floor unit unless you never want to... sleep (floorboards extremely squeaky and noisy), your appliances might not work, you might have water leaks, your A/C system is probably gonna be old and run down, your unit will not be properly cleaned upon move in so be ready to take pictures and document everything, your unit might also smell, management will take lunch whenever and come back whenever, even when it says back by 1pm, management will struggle with communication and scheduling, overall 1 out of 10 experience with Olympus Properties, who owns Cielo right now.
BUT I will say, I have definitely seen worse, and as far as the actual complex goes, it is probably the best bang for your buck if you have a dog (although I wouldn't pay for their "platinum" renovated unit)(All levels of renovation are the same, they cut all corners possible, its just the appliances, and you get a backslash, big whoop). But yeah, Dog friendly. There's grass everywhere, a good amount of shade, poop stations, and a decent dog park. We got the largest 1 bedroom so the Floorplan is decent, and we walk out to a big green belt, so it could be a lot worse. If your life revolves around your dogs' like mine does, it's not a bad spot, just beware, and DEFINITELY view the unit before you sign anything. Also don't trust their good reviews.
