Although Overture markets to 55+, the resident demographic tends to skew much older. Many of the residents here are either pre-independent living or should be in independent living or beyond. Home health workers visit residents regularly. For the most part, everyone is friendly but this is NOT an active adult community. The programming is primarily aimed at an older audience and staff tends to treat residents as if everyone was a 'senior' and less active (which is great if that's what you're... looking for). It's a nice facility, it was brand-new and the location can't be beat, but it has been difficult to find people who are in the same age group or level of health and fitness here. Those of us who moved in thinking it would be more active will likely be moving on at the end of our leases.

Great place to live. Beautiful and convenient location and building. The apartments are well designed and are modern and spacious. Downsizing to a one bedroom apartment doesn’t feel like I downsized at all. Residents and staff are friendly and there are lots of activities. Easy to make friends!

Very poor construction. Right next to 101, constant traffic & exhaust. Unhealthy environment, alcohol abuse, residents allowed to “sleep over” on common area furniture after hard core partying or camp out in common areas with loud vulgar language, smoking allowed on decks, pkg lot a mess with crooked pkg into adjacent spaces, food at events photographed as spoiled/rotten, there’s more to be aware so think twice. Staff & mgmt mingle and party with tenants, it can take mths before they take action... required and even then there’s little to no respect or compliance. You will waste so much time and energy trying to help mgmt because it’s truly necessay. Current mgmt unable to effectively manage and this is hurting all tenants in some way shape or form. From no hot water for days upon opening community to this weekends sewer gas leaks into common areas and units, it’s dodgy and a never ending experience to avoid.
