Terrible management/maintenance is very poor
The unit is cool, it's cute, great location. However, the property management has experienced several staff turnovers, and the maintenance is very, very POOR. If you want your unit to have consistent issues, come to Armory Park! They raise your rent as soon as they can, but won't fix issues in your unit. For example, if your unit smells like sewage due to a leak, they'll tell you they are working on it, and next thing you know, your lease is up, and your unit still smells like sewage. Then they... won't fix and will move in a tenant, with literal ditches in your unit from a previous repair..
The location is great since it's near downtown, but it's also near a blood plasma donation center and a rehab (Community Bridges), which attracts a very sketchy crowd, making up your foot traffic. This is important to be aware of, especially when all the gate doors that surround the property are broken, and there are homeless people sleeping in your backyard or in your front yard. Countless bikes have been stolen. The roofs consistently leak, there are rodent issues, and in my short time here, I've seen many tenants come and go with the same complaints.
The property managers don't practice fiduciary standards, so they would rather just collect their money and take their time with any issues. A unit had its window fall off the wall during the winter, and it wasn't repaired until the spring. The neighbor's unit had a foot of sewage water in the bathtub, and it took them three months to fix it, forcing the tenant to walk across the street for a temporary bathroom. The neighbor, who is a property manager, likes to cuss out the tenants when she's asked to be quiet at 2 AM on a weeknight.
DONT LET THEM FOOL YOU.
