Good value, but don’t expect the Taj Mahal
Good manager, antiquated building, felt safe and never had problem with theft or packages. The neighborhood is great. The traffic can be a bit of a nuisance with Runyon Canyon and speeding maniacs that think they’ll save time on Outback road.
No AC definitely sucks and some inexpensive improvements would go a long way (laundry facilities, repairing common area windows, replacing the roof doors and exterior lighting) The traffic noise on the south side is a bit much with engine revving, honking... and motorcycles.
It’s inexpensive, great for aspiring entertainers; but also without luxuries; I feel it’s great for a year or two, but it’s like a college dorm; you should want to leave after a few years.
