Bad, just bad. Avoid at all costs.

Management is horrible. They’re unresponsive, do NOT maintain the building in any capacity & despite claiming they have a “live-in manager” have not had a manager consistently in the building, during the working hours they post on their office door, in at least 4 years.

The building always has something broken. Water heater out, front door buzzer not working, garage gate not closing or opening, power out, old pipes leaching brown water, etc. As I’m writing this the power just went out. Go...
figure.

The building is consistently filthy. It gets cleaned once a month at max & will never not have a layer of dust on whatever you touch.

Though there is an elevator, it’s age & design only allow 2 people maximum to ride at a time. More than that, you run the risk of being stuck inside, which happens often.

Security is atrocious. There are constantly being packages stolen & there have been several assaults on residents. When residents & police ask management to provide video to substantiate our claims in court, they respond saying if they access the security camera storage “all of the recordings will be deleted”. So clearly the security cameras are for show and our local criminals know that.

On several occasions you will find our local transient population sleeping on our rooftop deck or using our laundry facilities, again because it’s widely known this buildings security features are just for show.

The laundry room is 3rd party operated & still is consistently broken. Though these are the same machines they’ve had since 1989 (the year sticker is still on the machine) & they break down multiple times a week, as well as “eat” your money (take money without doing the task), the building management claims “there’s nothing they can do about it” and refuses to have the machines changed out even though the building just next door has the same 3rd party vendor running their laundry facilities & yet their machines are from 2019 and do not consistently break down or “eat” money.

Not to mention, this place is absolutely FLOODED with roaches. Over the past 5 years I’ve found what works for me to keep them out of my unit but many residents still complain about them & you will see them in the buildings common areas frequently.

I live here because it’s below my means, but best believe as SOON as I save up the money I want to save I’m OUT OF HERE!

Save yourself the headache.
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!

Building is Cool Enough - Poorly Managed

Resident for a little while now, haven't been impressed by constant turning off of water, gas and power with little notice. Management doesn't follow up with requests.

Super Unprofessional.

The building itself is nice. The management is extremely unprofessional, they do not respond to calls, text or emails. You will need to show up physically to speak to anyone. Don't even have the common courtesy to reach out and let you know they will get back to you. Rent the units out to people they're familiar with.

Korea Town at it's best

I currently live in Korea town. I've lived here for two years. I love it here. The building used to be a hotel where you could stay weeks at a time. Old school charm in the heart of Korea town. You couldn't ask for a better location for Korean Barbecue. Interesting in music and comedy shows, well The Wiltern is a few blocks away. Everything awesome is in walking distance. What more do you need?.
