Very satisfied, GREAT part of the Valley

Lived in this complex for 3 years and I loved it. I felt safe, it was dog friendly, and there is so much storage space. I'm moving simply to be closer to family. The apartment was great (I'd recommend a unit with hardwood over carpet). Landscaping and the pool area was always tip-top. Never had a pest problem or any major maintenance issues. Management was on time with fixing leaky faucets or broken mini-blinds. There isn't central air conditioning, nor heating, so prepare for that. However some... less-than-neat neighbors have moved into other apartments on the block and there is constant furniture/debris on the sidewalk daily.

Manager out to get us

We’ve lived here for almost 3 months. The manager is either out to get us or the most forgetful person alive. She told us to park our car in spot 75, and then at 10:00 at night, had the car towed a few days later.
On top of that, there are extra fees lurking at every corner that of course, we not mentioned until we were locked into a lease.
Look for an apartment elsewhere.

Long-time tenant - No improvements

When I first moved in, these apartments were beautiful. After living here for over 10 years, unless something major breaks, they refuse to update things like the carpet, floors, paint, etc which they do every time short-time tenants move out.
They also take forever to replace lights making security a major problem.

Great Location & Quiet Neighborhood but Terrible Management

I am a current resident of Citronia Landmark but will be moving out soon due to the terrible office manager, Bobby. She has been nothing but rude since day 1, as soon as we put down the deposit. The first meeting was very sweet and courteous but as soon as money was exchanged and we couldn't withdraw, things became very sour. Maintenance would take at least a few days to fix anything and when we approached her she'd throw a fit and tell us she can't do anything. Once we went 3 days without a... working shower because the maintenance guy was off for the weekend. Another time it took 2 days for a broken toilet and then 4 days without hot water. We supposedly have a no smoking policy that she constantly violates. The list goes on...

Aside from the terrible management, the complex is actually quite pleasant. The building itself is old but it's clean and well maintained. It's located across from CSUN so you have access to a lot of shops and restaurants. It's very quiet at night since it's 500m away from the main street and next to a bunch of single family homes. It's a nice place to live but having to deal with Bobby once every few weeks is a few times too many for my family to handle. I don't want to continue exposing them to her negative vibes any longer.

A bit of the city in the burbs

Very well groomed and maintained, especially the beautiful courtyard with lemon tree outside my living-room window. It's a large complex with an intimate feel, being divided into the pool section and the garden section. Right in the middle of the burbs, but next to all kinds of entertainment.
