Thin walls, creaky floors, noisy neighbors

This 50-year old building was cheaply renovated with no sound insulation between the apartments. We hear every footstep, creak, and noise from our neighbors. Get ready to lose sleep and have no privacy. There’s only 1 washer and 1 dryer for 18 units in the building. Get ready to get surprise utility and other passthroughs after 1 year on top of your rent which they don’t tell you when you apply.

The ugly duckling of Pacific Heights

What an embarrassment and eyesore to the surrounding neighborhood. The current owners and building management are completely and utterly useless.

The building has not been updated since the 1970s and the owners keep the place run down.

The owners and building manager do the absolute bare minimum and have largely putoff maintenance and renovations for a building over 50 years old. They have not painted the dirty exterior, replaced the dirty shag green carpet, scuffed up walls. leaky, single...
pain windows, run down elevator, outdated linoleum tiles, cabinetry, bathroom fans, laundry room, etc.

The owners are so focused on getting new young tenants who stick around for 1-2 years $$$ - they intentionally neglect the longer term residents.
