Tow car even with parking pass

Even though we payed for an extra parking pass they still towed my girlfriend car at 3 am. This apartment has had a break-in in the last 12 months. Staffs seem to be missing during their listed office hours.

It is the resident's responsibility to make sure that your parking pass is visible on your car when you park - it's the only way that the tow company or security...
are able to know who is allowed to park, and who is not. Towing unauthorized vehicles that were taking up residents' spaces was a #1 request from residents - and we've made sure every resident was warned and aware so that no residents would get towed.

I believe you and your girlfriend both put in anonymous 1-star reviews on the same day with the same content. Most of our reviews are positive, particularly about our staff. We encourage you to bring your concerns to us so that we can address them. We would love to understand which days /times you noted that we weren't available in the office during posted hours - we do our best to keep the office open unless absolutely necessary, even staggering our lunch times.

If you still feel passionately about your experience, please come talk to us so we can work toward mutual understanding or solutions.

Not a great place to live in

For the last 7 months I’ve been through at least three apartment wide fire alarms. I wish it only happened once but this has been an on going issue for the whole year. Also, for a PAID parking permit my car still ended up getting towed & costed me almost $500 to get it back. The staff never answers the phone & they’re rarely in the office during the hours they’re supposed to be there. There are also a break in in the apartment complex, and took them almost a month to fix the gate. I would not... recommend this place to anyone.

Not so great place to live. If you are looking for a place to live in close to San Jose Midtown try other apartments.

Not so great place to live. If you are looking for a place to live in close to San Jose Midtown try other apartments.

I started renting about 2 years ago, I got the apartment on high level facing San Carlos street and the place was vacant for quite some time so they gave me an incentive discount. I know now why no body wanted to rent.

First of all, its extremely noisy (try online street noise tool and you know how loud it is). And not just the street, there are numerous homeless people ended...
up this area at night, yelling, shouting or in general make it un safe.

The amenities are good and thats why I gave it 2 star to be fair but couldn't use much these days. Another thing is for the past year we had smoke alarm going off about 10 times (not even joking), so long story short, there are super sensitive (the only apartment I've seen for the past 10 years that keep this sensitive). Another reason is when corridors detect smoke the entire building will alarm and for some reason a lot of neighbors open up their door when cooking smokey that will trigger the alarm.

Another thing is safety, you have no idea how many times I've seen cars were broken into, bikes were taken (so many times), even though the management hires security petrol every now or then but ...... so not even safe area to live in.

Last but not least, I feel the management are not fair in terms of using / returning the deposit also. Most of my life I lived in Essex properties and they often returned 50-70% of deposits. I recently moved out and all I got from a $700 security deposit was only $29.

It won't worth it even they offer 1-2 months of FREE rent!!!

Unprofessional Tour- Rude Staff

I flew in from Philadelphia to find a new apartment for a new job. I only have limited time. The staff was unhelpful they never told me I had to download an app to do the tour. When I asked for help a rep from the leasing office named Holly was so unhelpful and rude. We were sent to several rooms in which the key we were given didn’t work. Absolutely such a waste of time

Very ill maintained property

We moved in here in July and so far we have had some good experiences and a lot of bad ones.
I'll start with the good ones(this is short):
1. Great location
2. New property
3. Good facilities(on paper)
4. Good sound insulation

Now for the bad ones:
1. They moved our move in date by 2 weeks without enough heads up. We were already on a notice at our old place. We had to pay extra for extending our lease.
2. The ameneties(club, gym, pool) were all supposed to start in July, but the clud opened in...
september and Pool in end of October. And most of the facilities don work. The instruments in the gym are not connected. Pool is open but the heat is not working(after 2 weeks of opening it is off for 2 weeks). What will we do with the facilities if they are not working
3. Parking gate keeps breaking from time to time. For a new property you would expect them to have good appliances and instruments. That is not the case at all.
4. Fire alarm keeps going off at random times. I remeber waking up at 2 in the morning for fire alarm.
5. Security is zero. Maybe because of the location or because of the parking gate, or because of lack of CC cameras, you cannot rely on the security here.
6. Construction across the road is noisy(more than anticipated)
7. Water has sediment and there is no work around for that. We are buying our own water, but we are still using the bad water for washing dishes daily use, which is actually causing health problems.
