Nice apartments terrible management and maintenance
Lived here for less than a year. Started off bad and sadly ended bad. Started off with missing keys and forced with a specific move-in that coincided with no management on property to discuss any issues. We didnt have a mail key or working amenity key fob. We were later told they knew about this issue but they clearly saw reason to inform us before we got keys. Took a month to get mail keys(had to complain every other day until they finally made sure to get it). Had other damage in apartment... they fixed the first couple weeks but then never showed up for follow up fixes based on items they couldn't do. Like a leaking dishwasher. Had to fix this and several other items myself.
Staff: nice people but only care about collecting rent. Cannot get them on the phone, instead get an operating service that takes a message for you but you'll only get an email response. They are nice in person too but not really motivated to help you unless you complain enough.
Maintenance: nice guys, possibly over worked but doesn't excuse several months of not fixing. Again had to complain the management to get our drain fixed after about a month. Had other items in our fix list but only the drain we complained about got done. The rest stayed on their until we left...3-4 months we had open maintenance request...
Security Deposit: Expect to not get this back no matter what you do. We cleaned and documented the apartment. Still got charged because it wasn't "professionally cleaned" This is not required per the contract. However they have a deal with Diamond Cleaning Services so expect a minimum of $300 services charges for cleaning. $195 for "light cleaning" and $95 for carpet cleaning even if it was pristine. Never got an explanation of what was dirty just told it's their policy to have everything professionally cleaned.its frustrating because it is not required in the contract AND they did not tell us it was required by them. I'm sure their parents company also owns Diamond Cleaning or has some sleazy deal with them.
Overall: nice interior, lazy/inactive management and maintenance which ames for a bad experience. Happy to be done with this place. Oh forgot to mention how terrible parking is here. If you have 2 cars, best of luck finding a second spot that's not reserved.
