Avoid

If you want quiet, parking and customer service from the office do not rent here. After several complaints about our neighbors blaring their music, dropping cigarette butts and bottle caps on our deck they do nothing. Can’t give a noise complaint until after 10:00 pm.

Parking is lacking and they look great in the photos and the model but they are rough. Ask to see an empty unit not the model.

Only gave 1 star for size vs price.

Property Manager at Redstone Ranch Apartments responded to this review

Hi Theresa, thank you for taking the time to share this with me. I am sorry to hear you are having these issues, however this is the first I am hearing about these struggles. I certainly would like to address these issues with you; however, I could... not identify an apartment number associated with your name after looking you up. If you could give me a call at (303) 373-4900 or email me at redstonemgr@nals.com with an apartment number/building, I would be happy to discuss this further. We are a non-smoking community and if caught, this infraction carries a very hefty fine; with the evidence you're describing you have, I can definitely take action. I can also send my Grounds Crew over to pick up the area around your apartment. In addition, I would like to point out we do have Metropolitan Security Services patrolling throughout the night and they are happy to take calls beginning at 9 pm at (720) 351-2233 to address and document excessive noise. Any reports I receive from them confirming excessive noise, we do address accordingly. Parking can definitely be frustrating, so much so, most of the apartment communities in this area charge an extra fee, in addition to rent, just to park in an open space in their lot. As a reminder, we do offer standard garages for a monthly charge, however, we do not charge extra fees on top of rent to park in an open space in our lot. Providing excellent customer service is always something we strive for while making meaningful efforts to improve upon every day, your feedback will help us do just that. I thank you for bringing this to my attention and hope to hear back from you soon. Jessica C., Community Manager.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT FOR ANYTHING!

I must say it is the worst place I have lived in the last year. Management is disgustingly bad, they don't care about a thing and I have proof to say what I'm saying. I moved here 1 year ago and it has been the worst thing I could have done. The administration is only interested in getting money from you. They does not care about the maintenance of anything, neither the apartments or the common areas. They are constantly bothering you with letters of alleged claims, however, I had a claim... throughout the year, regarding my upstairs neighbors, for constant noise and damage to my balcony. however, they completely ignored it and not even the police could help me. I escalated the case to the police and they never did anything about it. I find the price they charge for each apartment a mockery because they are not even luxurious, as they are presented, it is full of horrible people and during the year the standard of people went down even more. It's horrible, I can't wait for the day to get out of here. I have had problems with them all year, with payments, with coexistence issues and nothing, they only care about getting you out and getting your money. I honestly do not recommend at all that you move here. It is too expensive and not worth it at all.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to share your honest thoughts. You have actually been here longer than me, and I would love the opportunity to talk to you more about what we can specifically change for the better. We would like to use this as a... learning opportunity to make improvements to the community and team overall. I can assure you noise complaints are not ignored; however, they are one of the hardest to resolve because it does need to be verified as excessive by a third party, either by our Courtesy Patrol Company (Metropolitan Protective Services) or Denver Police. If the police are unable to verify or do anything; unfortunately, our hands are tied as well. I am happy to give you MPS' phone number and discuss any other issues you may have. Please reach out to me directly at redstonemgr@nals.com to set up a time to talk about your concerns and how we can improve moving forward. Thank you again, and I look forward to hearing from you soon. -Jessica C., Community Manager

Not worth it

Leasing in this place is really not a good option when it comes to living quietly. The prices are extremely high for what the apartments are worth, the maintenance service is slow and the truth is that when you have a domestic problem the management is not responsible and they wash their hands. For everything, extra charges apply and many times they don't even give you a notice that you are not doing things quite right.

Unprofessional

The property management at Redstone is by far the worst I’ve experienced throughout the 5 states I’ve lived in over the last 10 years. Unprofessional is an understatement. We waited an extra 20 days after the original move in date because the property manager was on vacation.
Once we moved, in after those 20 days, there were several lights out, a broken dishwasher, a broken burner on the stove, dozens of large nails scattered throughout the carpet (it was new!), and a broken window on the main...
floor that was stuck with about an inch of open winter air coming into the apartment. We submitted our maintenance request and after a week of calling maintenance for other issues we found, we learned our requests were never submitted to maintenance.
It took 6 months to have our window replaced- six months in which I emailed the property manager several times and never received one response from the office. No communication whatsoever for residents with a 2 year old dealing with very cold winter temperatures in their living room.
Over the 8 months we were there, our brand new white Jeep was covered in purple house paint thanks to one of the many local businesses that use Redstone’s dumpsters as a trash spot. When my husband went to speak to the property manager about the paint issue- she suggested using gasoline since that’s what she did the last time a resident did that to her. (I’m sorry, what?!?!?!) They assured us they were following up with the police but ignored the emails I sent with pictures of the vehicle/ person who did the dumping and never followed up with us once to see if we were able to take care of the paint.
There were many issues of crime- stolen packages, car break ins, gun related issues.

We moved out early and we’re assured that even though they couldn’t process all our paperwork until move our day and they would contact us to let us know when everything is complete. It’s been 2 weeks, a few phone calls and emails to the office and we still haven’t been followed up with.

Hi Monica, I appreciate you taking the time to share all this. A great deal of this, I, of course, was not aware of because I wasn't here at the time you moved in. I am very sorry to hear you went through all this trouble. My goal since I've been... here is to clearly make improvements to prevent experiences such as yours. I apologize for the delay in communication from the Assistant Manager concerning your deposit. I intervened immediately after seeing your email and replied back to you; however, I didn't receive a response; I hope you received it, as well as the message I left for you. I have made a few position changes in the office recently and look forward to using your feedback as a learning tool for my new office team to improve future experiences for everyone. If I could go back and change the experience you had, I certainly would. I am truly sorry and wish you well in the future. Thank you again, and if there's is anything I can do, please feel free to reach out to me at redstonemgr@nals.com. -Jessica C., Community Manager

Not worth the rent

Moved in Nov. 2013, and got a good apt. for the area, 2 bed 2 bath, 1146 sf, and paid $1108.00. Apt sold to new management in April 2014. They are horrible. Started with lack of ability to use clubhouse except during working hours. Refuse to accept packages at office. Latest change is the need to put satellite dishes on your own pedestal, can't attach to the building anymore. Also upon lease renewal will charge for water. As of August 2015, the rent for my apartment is scheduled to be... $1424.00, as there is no rent control in place in Denver. Currently paying $1256.00. If you can buy a house, you will pay less than if you rent.
