Greed over resident satisfaction
I have lived at the Quincy for 2 years, and am considering breaking my lease. What is a beautiful building in a an amazing location is now broken and battered with a staff that seeming doesn't care. There's a lot of rent money being taken and very little updates to major issues. We have been down one elevator for months, and now our freight elevator is also down forcing move-in to take out yet another elevator (leaving 24 floors with 2 elevators because we can't use the stairs. During busy times... of the day you can wait almost 15 minutes for one. The "secure" garage door gate is broken, meaning we're paying extra for nothing. The hot tubs are broken more often than working.
But the worst part is management hardly ever informs of issues with very little communication as to when things will actually be fixed. When I emailed to voice my concerns, the response was that they don't charge extra for amenities without addressing when these repairs will actually take place.
I am not renewing and am looking into breaking my lease.
