Bad property management
I’m sad to give the place I call home one star but that’s all it can be as long as Wanda Manning is the property manager. She is not only rude, it’s like she gets joy out of abusing her minimal power by saying no to any reasonable request for assistance. The reputation is building-wide, and it’s a shame because we’ve had really wonderful, empathetic managers in the past.
Before considering living here, you need to accept that most of your packages will be stolen and you will have bugs. There is... also a bogus monthly AC fee to skirt around the building being rent controlled.
I do have love for this place and hope one day it can be pleasant to live in with a manager who cares about the quality of their residents’ lives.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to review our community. Our onsite staff takes pride in providing exceptional service and we’re sorry you feel this has not been the case for you. We want to address your feedback specifically and let you know... that our onsite package lockers provide some security for package deliveries, however they can become over-full if packages are not picked up in a timely manner. Additionally, we recommend noting your building name with your delivery address so delivery service providers are more likely to deliver your packages to the correct building. Our community is treated for pests on a regular basis, and we ask all residents to let us know of any specific pest issues so that we can make sure they are addressed in a timely manner. Finally, the monthly fee for A/C is standard in D.C. rent-controlled apartment buildings. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to customerservice@bmcproperties.com
