The biggest issue with this apartment complex is noise and lack of concern from management. They really don't care about residents issues.
If you are going to live here, which I don't recommend, make sure you get a 3rd floor apartment. You will still hear music/tv and conversations from the unit below, but this will avoid hearing your upstairs neighbor stomping around, running, closing cabinets/drawers, running the washing machine/dishwasher.
According to management the sliding doors are... oversized so you will hear when the door above you is opened. The sliding doors are in the livingroom but the noise is loud enough to carry into the bedroom. I'd say the noise and vibration is equivalent to standing next to a loud truck.
With apartment living some noise might be expected, but due to the thin walls/floor these are a great disturbance rather than a minor inconvenience.
The previous property manager could care less about residents concerns. She claimed they were going to fix the floor between tenants, but was either not done or did nothing to fix the noise issues.
I had to repeatedly email to get a response and when I finally did all I got was deflection and excuses. I had over a month long exchange with her regarding noise issues and was eventually told I could give 30 days notice and vacate my apartment. The new property manager also told me that there is not much they can do about noise issues. They do like sending out passive aggressive email to all tenants on occasion reminding them of the rules while doing nothing else to address the problems with the people actually causing them.
