Be warned
When moving into this complex it truly looked like an amazing affordable place to live and we were happy for a few months until hearing horror stories from other residents that we soon found out were true. Every other day there is an email regarding another car broken into or stolen from the property itself(number is in the dozens per year). My roommate had two motorcycles stolen and we were told sorry there is nothing we can do (even from the corporate office). One of them was taken in... daylight at 10:00am when he was home for 10 minutes so there are people scouting out the lot because it is so easy to get into. Took over a year of back and forth to get some cameras in the lot... usually at least two washers and dryers broken at a time and invest their money in upgrading appearance rather than functioning security on property at nights. The guard that comes through the lot once a night is a joke! Looks great but don’t let looks deceive you! Affordable compared to others around for a reason! Took over a month to receive our security deposit back due to a cleaning charge which they wouldn’t accept our receipt for a $200 deep clean of the apartment we did before moving out... wish it worked out differently but facts are facts and had to warn the public. There are many other reviews that support all of this so don’t bother responding to this casa de marina, you messed up and you should know it! Good riddance!

Hello Ben,
We are truly sorry you had a negative experience at Casa De Marina Apartments. We take pride in our community here and prioritize communication with our residents at the top of our list, especially when it is regarding significant issues... and/or concerns from our residents. Upon the theft incidents, we sympathized greatly and urgently advised for it to be reported to the authorities whom we then work with to help with in any way that we legally are able to. We’ve followed up but were not sure if a police report was ever issued. Since then we took action and have made improvements such as adding additional cameras throughout the property.
In addition, we actively encourage our residents to work with our office should an amenity not be in working order so that we can promptly assist in getting it resolved. And while we do everything we can, some issues do require a vendor’s expertise and that can sometimes take a couple of days from the time an issue is reported.
We were unable to verify the cleaning receipt provided at move out, and although we made every attempt to get in touch with the vendor listed on the document provided to verify the invoice provided had been paid, we did not receive a call back; this, unfortunately, may have led to a delay in the process.
We greatly appreciate any and all feedback from our current, past or potential residents. We thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us and wish you all the best in your new home!
Sincerely,
Your Casa De Marina Management Team
