This Place Has Gone Downhill
This place used to be wonderful. When I moved here 4 years ago, I was so happy with everything. But the quality of life and quality of service has deteriorated significantly. For the last 4 months, we've had no access to the pool or jacuzzi in my building. Our beautiful view is now an empty pool and piles of rubble, empty pails and huge garbage bags! It's been one excuse after another; "we ran into plumbing problems," "we didn't know we needed permits." Now they're blaming the fires!! But why do... we have to look at garbage for $3,000 a month? The customer service is also horrendous. Horrendous! There is a manager that lives in my building and she has a habit of parking her golf cart in a no parking zone in front of the elevator that blocks my car and my neighbor's car. When I mentioned it to her and requested that she stop, she was extremely rude, dismissive and basically told me to buzz off. To my face! My neighbor and I have both written emails and made phone calls to the front office to complain about this. No one has done anything about it and no one cares that an employee is blocking tenant cars in the parking lot! My dishwasher broke 10 days ago. I have made two written maintenance requests and a phone call and I'm still living with a broken dishwasher. When I first moved here maintenance requests were responded to and resolved within 48 hours. They don't even answer the front desk phone half the time because they don't want to hear the complaints that they will do nothing about. This place used to be paradise but now it feels more like a brokedown palace. Take your hard earned money elsewhere. There are much nicer buildings in Marina Del Rey. You will not get what you pay for here.
