If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't.
I lived in this complex for 2 years, it was nice in the beginning as they offered a very large apartment at a competitive price but be warned.
- Due to the size of these apartments, you will find that there is up to 10 Adults and 10 and 6 kids in a single unit. I could hear and FEEL the kids in the apartment below me running around on a daily basis.
- The complex is nice but the neighborhood is garbage. There are homeless and transients on the street constantly, at all hours of the night. So... much so that the complex had to place locks on all the dumpsters to avoid people digging through the trash.
- Parking is horrible, park on the street and risk getting your car broken into. It is not uncommon for the street to be littered with glass from the previous nights break-ins.
- Do not leave anything outside your door as is will go missing. On two occasions, I had piles of trach and food outside my front door (pic below) so much so that we decided to get a camera, pictures, and video were sent to management, and not once did we get any kind of response. This was a problem for other neighbors as well.
- The tile floors were not laid properly. Tiles will move under your feet and will break very easily since they are not secured. Management is aware but has not corrected the problem.
- The kitchen is HUGE but the cabinets are all fiberboard and are falling apart. Most of the time there was a little pile of sawdust in the corners of the cabinets that developed from opening and closing them. The cabinet doors had to constantly be tightened as they became loose quite often.
- The apartment was not very clean upon move in. I pulled out the kitchen stove and found broken glass, food, refrigerator magnets as well as food in between the stove and counter. The bathrooms were obviously not re-painted and you could tell the overall turnaround of the apartment was subpar.
- They require a yearly inspection where they go through every room so "they can confirm lights work" and even take pictures. Funny after our inspection burnt out lights were not replaced. This is simply a way for them to invade privacy and try to nickel and dime you out of every penny they can.
- Take the good reviews with a grain of salt. They often offer promotions and contests to try and promote residents to leave a positive review.
- If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't.
