Love my new place. Neighbors are friendly and rent is low. Con: No Parking!

Rent is good, but you'll come to find the building has bed bugs. The building manager won't tell you when you move in, instead he'll wait for you to complain so he can force treatments that don't work because it's not your unit that's infested. You'll lose sleep, sanity, your health, and thousands of dollars replacing destroyed and infested property, and then he'll scream, demean, and threaten to evict you for complaining because "other people don't mind the bed bugs" and it's "not a big deal"... and "other tenants make much more money than you and don't complain". Also, be warned if you're disabled. Not only will he harass you, he won't disclose pesticide information and will attempt to force dangerous (and ineffective) chemical treatments the CDC confirms can be lethal to certain people, especially those suffering from asthma or seizures. When you decline the chemical treatment for medical reasons and request reasonable accommodations, he'll bang on your door for hours and serve you multiple notices to move out at once.

Cons: Bed bugs, building manager, the elevator is seemingly always broken, you'll never find parking, they won't turn on the heat, not very safe area.

Pros: Low rent, close to Balboa, close to public transportation and highway, decent views in some units. Lee mas
