Get what you pay for
For being a brand new low-income housing complex, you can't really expect perfect floors or even a fully competent management team. Very sweet and friendly people, but very clearly learning as they go.
Living here for a few months, I've experienced the garage door breaking and staying open for countless amount of days; the elevators are always breaking down whether by user error or faulty maintenance. Trash chutes seem to break down once a month. The quad area will occasionally smell like sewage... , even on the rooftop too.
Someone had gotten into my vehicle and rummaged through my paperwork containing my full address, and the leasing office was made aware but there was no follow up from them.
The area is sketch - lots of homeless and people living in their cars; gang members live in the area and are active especially at night; your neighbors will steal your packages straight from the mail room randomly; only safe to walk outside during day time and/or with a group of people. There has been at least two incidents where police had been called to the premises due to someone breaking into an unit or there being a domestic dispute. You get what you pay for.
