Ellicott House

Ellicott House was my first apartment in DC and I lived there for just over three years, from August 2013 to October 2016. I was in a studio and overall had a nice experience there. The building itself is very nice. I did have some issues with the garbage disposal but besides that, I have no real complaints; management changed a few times but usually were helpful. Walking distance to Van Ness metro station and the L buses are right there. Close to Politics & Prose for all you nerds out there. I... moved out because the rent was just getting too high but if you can afford it, then I would recommend Ellicott House. Lee mas

I like my new apartment in Ellicott House. Everybody is friendly . When you have problem it decide very fast. You can go to the swimming pool or gym. Thank you Ronald for help with my apartment!

Horrible management, horrible owner who is cutting concierge and security hours, poorly maintained building, fairly incompetent maintenance, in a neighborhood where businesses are closing, long awaited new businesses are not opening, theft is rampant, next door park where all kinds of sketchy things happen...Just NO.

We have lived at Ellicott House for almost a year and we have greatly enjoyed our time here. The apartments are very attractive and spacious and the price is reasonable. The office staff and concierges are very friendly and extremely helpful. While we have had a few instances where repairs were needed, 9/10 times maintenance has responded within 48 hours and have been easy to work with. We enjoy the community that lives here as well and so far we have had an overall pleasant experience.
