Run Far Away
I do not want the added expenses of moving but I will need to take them on for one simple reason: Greed. The new management company is very greedy and raising people’s rent anywhere from 15-30%, which for most units is $250-400 each month! When renting you typically don’t have the disposable income to afford such a drastic increase in rent. And this is for a complex with severely limited parking. If you live here you better hope you can be home by 7 if you want to park inside the gate, of course... the gate doesn’t matter much considering it’s only worked for about 1 week the entire year. I got home one day at 8:30 pm and could not find a single spot in my half of the complex. Also there is a mandatory fee for valet trash, but they don’t do anything when the trash company changes their hours without notice, a change that now means people need to leave their trash out all day long! Which of course has resulted in a big uptick in bugs and no sign of the quarterly pest control that is supposed to be covered by the rent and fees. And despite being a new build, the walls and floors are thin. I can always tell when my neighbor goes to work because it is easy to hear her dog. I’ve lived in complexes with animals before, but never was it as easy to hear the pets as it is here. You also better be really careful when you wash your clothes as your neighbors above or below will be able to hear the noise of the machine. Finally, good luck reaching the office, they keep closing with little to notice! Oh, and when they reply to reviews, they ignore most of the concerns.
