3 years going on many more.
Office staff: Always pleasant
Amenities: Pretty barebones as far as compared to other area apartments. Gym is a little small but has the basics. There's a basketball court but I never see it in use. Pool is nice and is always clean. There was a car wash station but it got taken down, bummer. Valet trash is included in your rent and is very nice. Dumpster never overfilled, and recycling is available if you're into that. There's a business center and a large clubhouse.
Building: You're in an... apartment and not a house. Occasionally you'll hear things like cabinets slamming or a loud TV, but it's not the norm. Walls are thin and just be mindful of that. Try to get a top floor apartment so that way you won't hear footsteps.
People: Pleasant neighbors, no noise/bass from people driving by at night. Most people that live here are 30 years old . Everyone really just minds their own business.
Security: Gate is a nice thing, but there are two lanes, and random people just wait at the guest lane and just merge to the resident lane and drive through when a resident goes through. I don't like that, at all. Eliminates the purpose of a gate. I've never seen a cop at this complex assumed to be on a call in years. I actually know of 3-4 cops and a few paramedics that live here too.
$: No mandate for cable/internet. Utilities are not included in rent, you'll get separate bills for that, and are charged for actual use.
Maintenance: AWESOME. They help people out with little things here and there i.e. I saw one of the guys help an elderly lady with bringing her groceries in. Work orders are ALWAYS done same day. I've never had to wait. These guys even fix A/C issues themselves, eliminating wait for a 3rd party to come out.
Appliances: These aren't the nicest, but aren't the worst. Dishwasher is just okay. Washer dryer I have no problems with. Glasstop oven, but like a low-price-point oven. I'm just nitpicking.
Parking: Unassigned parking. Gets a little cramped at night when everyone comes home, but it's not that big of a complex and usually if it's full, the nextdoor building has spots, so what is it an extra 15 seconds walking?
Area: I'm actually going to wind up moving, to no fault of Sundance, I just don't like commuting to Orlando from Clermont, it's a heck of a drive.
Summary: I totally recommend Sundance. Great all-around community at a great price. I've never had a negative issue here and don't think I ever will.
