Lost my work at home job due to poor internet
They force us to use broadstar during lockdowns I got a job working from home as a customer service rep. We have to chat with customers seeking help on the website. I lost my job due to frequent drops and time outs. Keeping my job depended on customer satisfaction surveys. No one was able to complete chats with me. The complex is wired for fiber optic from AT&T but the complex won’t allow them to provide it. We can’t have cable tv or internet from local Cox due to the complex being in some... contract with broadstar. If you are a gamer don’t move here, if you want to stream tv the internet is too slow, if you work online you will not be able to work here. We live in a world full of tech. Moving here is like having a flip phone after you’ve had an iPhone. You literally cannot do anything you need or want to do. Oh and the tv is beyond stupid! Fuzzy picture, bars in the middle, the same show on 2 channels at the same time. I don’t even turn it on anymore. They include it in the rent by force and it SUCKS!!! They are insane here. AVOID!
