Lofts at LaVilla

I did my application in November, its is NOW January and I still have not got a answer. Iv called just about everyday since iv done my application and they lady gives me the same answer every time (that's is they answer the phone)they will tell me that everything looks fine and that it takes awhile to be approved OR tell me that my application is still processing and that they will give me a phone call latter that day to give me some news AND I never receive that phone call. They have never... called me and sadly iv talked to people that have moved in already and they say that you have to keep calling a bothering them to get some progress. I understand the building just opened and I'm sure everyone is trying to move in right now but there communication is terrible. To me its seems like they don't care. I am still waiting for a answer sadly because I thought theses apartment's were just perfect. If I'm still waiting in February I'm just going to give up playing this waiting game and find somewhere else. I'm happy I'm in no rush to move in because this would have been worst. I just think its unfair to take MY money and I have to keep calling and asking if everything is fine. I would think the company would keep you updated or at least call and apologize for the wait but again the company has YET to call me from November till now. Don't getting me wrong the apartment are beautiful but it just seems like the people working there just DO NOT CARE. Lee mas

Been living here since 1st day they opened, 3 weeks now, and STILL NOT getting our mail ..due to WHR Realty/management's callousness. They could care less.

The application process was a breeze it’s just the waiting part that has me on edge!!!! The leasing manager Jennifer is the absolute best she helped me every step of the way and always responded back to my emails/phone calls in a timely fashion....I cannot wait for the Lofts at LaVilla to be completed...I will literally be able to walk to work and save $75 a month on parking!!!!

I am so excited for these apartments to be finished! The people in the office are awesome! They’ve helped every step of the way. To have public housing in the middle of downtown is amazing. It really helps out people who don’t make a whole lot to still be able to afford a quality apartment in a nice area. I think what they’ve doing is great. I wish I COULDNT qualify because then it would imply I’d be making a lot more but until then, I appreciate what these group of people are offering... Jacksonville! Very humble and inclusive team. The lack of truthful advertisement is appalling for their Lofts at LaVilla community. I completed the application process and my background and credit are both pristine but, apparently, I make too much and do not qualify for income restricted housing. I have brochures and the restrictions are not mentioned - they are not mentioned on the website either. Also, upon application, I was informed that I was not able to be a full-time student - either now or in the future - even if I continue to... pay rent. I feel as though I'm being discriminated against because I make less than $2k over the income restriction for 1 person and that I'm not allowed to attend school on my terms! I highly recommend that anyone who is considering this community ask LOTS of questions before filling out anything. I paid $50 application fee, $75 administration fee, and $100 holding deposit. I am only getting the $100 back. I am very upset about the way this was handled and will be making a formal complaint to have these advertisements changed so future tenants can make an informed decision. Lee mas
