Winding Lane Apartments

I have been here for more than two years and I'm glad that I found these apartments. They're centrally located near schools, shopping,gas and dining. The staff is amazing and extremely helpful I haven't had any issues since being here. The property manager Tess is fantastic and is always out trying to make the property better. The only reason I would move is that I was buying a house. The tenants are friendly and it's very peaceful along with being pet friendly.

The parking is a nightmare. If you get home past 6 pm you're parking on the other side of the complex and walking in a dark parking lot hoping you don't get hit by cars flying through the parking lot not paying attention. Since I renewed my lease not even a year ago my "utilities" have increased $50 a month, I'm pretty sure it's their legal way to increase rent. The walls are so thin I can hear my neighbors shower, cough or have sex and I know they can hear me too. There's a dog allowed to live... on the property that is agressive towards kids and growls Everytime she sees one. I'm afraid it's a matter of time before her owner is too busy smoking to notice and she bites a kid. My apartment constantly smells like weed from the people above me and below me. It used to be a decent place for the money but it's just getting too expensive. I've mentioned my concerns to Tessa and nothing has been done. Lee mas

Just be aware... The place is terrible... Even if you pay rent on time and act as a good neighbor.. You will be treated like garbage for expecting the most basic requests to be handled. Don't sign a lease here!

I have lived at this apartment for 4 years. I started in a one bedroom and ended in a two bedroom. In the beginning everything was great but since the staff has changed things have become absolutely ridiculous and disgusting. Their apartments are molded. I have been sick for months with no answers to my health issues. Our bathroom was like a built in sauna. Underneath our sink, everything we had was moist and infested with black mold. The ceiling in our bedroom closet was drooping, about to cave... in. They repaint over everything to make it "appear" nice but what's underneath all the layers of paint is horrifying. Everyone on their maintenance staff is related. They cruise through the complex at top speed on their golf carts. We've brought this to the staff's attention many times and still there has been no resolution or consequences. They are in no rush to get things fixed; instead of fixing things they just jiffy-rig them together and think that that is acceptable. Our air conditioning went out one time and by the time the maintenance person left, our entire house was filthy and our walls were stained with brown yuck from them "fixing" the air. The walls, to this day, are still stained. We have not had a kitchen light for over three months. They've come twice to try and fix the light and it works for a few days and then goes out again. Our bathroom shower has been leaking for months and no one has even come out to check on it or fix it. Their laundromats have gone up in price and are absolutely disgusting. They have people who have bed bugs in there using the public washers/dryers. We were never late on our rent and never caused a problem but constantly were harassed by the staff. They advertise "upgrades" but there are no upgrades. We asked for a screen door when we were offered an "upgrade" and we were told they don't do upgrades any longer. They have maybe two or three apartment buildings with washers and dryers in them. 98% of all the apartment homes do not have washer and dryers. When we asked about getting one installed, we were told it would have to sit in the dinning room and drain into the kitchen sink!!!! Who lives like that? Their pool is supposedly remolded but all they did was spray paint the pool lounge chairs. Long story short, do not live here. It's disgusting and run down and the staff is beyond incompetent. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. Lee mas

I really like living here.the office staff are goid.they go out if there way to make sure everything is in good working order.the repair crew are very knowledgeable friendly and very good. Even the crew that keeps the grounds cut are friendly. The company that picks up the trash are friendly and they go out of their way to accomanate.never had an issue her that was not resolved the next day or two
