MAA Lake Nona Apartamentos

•There was no gate to the community, pantry in our apartment, or wired intrusion alarm (we were told there would be).
•The unit was filthy when we moved in.
•We were told this was a smoke-free community. Despite continuously reporting neighbors with video evidence, the neighbors still smoked.
•We were also told there would be a car wash and vacuum station. Once installed, you had to pay extra to use it, and it was often broken.
•You are required to pay an MAA-connect fee and a separate... amenities fee (monthly). However, spectrum wifi is shared, so it did not work for several hours a day, the gym equipment was always broken, and the pool was always disgusting.
•Our neighbors frequently had parties with fireworks that would hit my window.
•We requested a garage when we moved in (two years ago) and never were given one.
•Several parts of the lease I had to get them to correct.
•The trash would often be left in our container and never picked up (not on holidays, and we waited over a week).
•Our windows would never stay open (constantly closing on themselves).
•Our vehicles were broken into (by smashing windows) multiple times, so the fact that they only have cameras over the amenities is an issue. When I called about this to corporate, I was told safety is not their job. Despite having “security,” when security is called, it takes them a long time to get there.
•Many packages were stolen, and many unwanted visitors arrived at our apartment. At one point, I had to get the police there because two men in hoodies would not stop trying to enter my apartment. When I told the front office about our issues, they took months to respond (once I provided a maintenance review).
•Despite me telling the maintenance man, Pedro, that I was allergic to bleach and to please not use it, he poured it down my sink and on my dishes. Other than Pedro, all other maintenance staff are great.
•The paint began to fall off the walls, literally. Visually, whoever kept up the apartments did a terrible job. The paint was full of layers. The toilet, windows, and just about everything had paint on it.
•The smell outside was often of roadkill.
•We would get non-stop emails about ensuring we paid, even though we had already paid.
•Any sort of large work being done on the property was given minimal notice (less than a week).
•Rules in the lease are constantly violated
•Management says, “We would like to discuss this with you” in reviews, but never does

We have had nothing but issues since moving in first issue we’ve had was with the valet trash they always did not take our trash because raccoons kept on getting into it and refuse to fix the issue other people in the complex had the same issue. Second our carpet master bedroom closet started getting soaking wet water is coming from the sidewall and they did absolutely nothing about it and kept on saying that it was our fault and it’s because we are using our master bedroom bathroom and refuse... to actually do anything about it except for give us a blower and a dehumidifier to get the smell out which never work. We are about to move out of this apartment and this problem is still not fixed it’s been going on since September. And finally they decided to raise our rent almost $1500 which is almost double than what we paid the first time we moved here. Please don’t move here. I promise you there is better options in Lake Nona. Lee mas

the service has been the worst in all the condos located in Lake nona. They charge per application and then they are not responsible for returning the money if they do not apply, in addition to that they lie about the availability of their apartments. The manager and his staff provide horrible service. management does not enforce any rules in the contract. Management failed to meet our needs for almost 2 years. In all honesty this is the worst option in Lake Nona, please do not choose this... place to live Lee mas

Recently we have moved to this property, even it was late Amy, Brandy accompanied us and spent time with us and explained all our questions about community, schools, policies etc - and we signed on that day itself. We loved the community very much, my kids also enjoying a lot in play area and swimming, lake view.
Its right in the center - walkable distance for most of essentials.
Maintenance also the team made it quickly.

Had a wonderful time touring with Amy! The community was beautifully maintained and the staff in the office were so courteous and inviting. I will definitely be filling out my application and making MAA Lake Nona my new home!
