Terrible
We live at 2193 W Oak Ridge Road for over 2 years now. More than one instance has occurred in the past with irresponsible handling of residents maintenance requests. The City of Orlando Code Enforcement has been involved and business had to perform multiple repairs to the property, fire and rehire office management staff to no avail.
On Monday, June 3rd, 2024 our apartment’s AC unit stopped working. The maintenance request has been filed around 3 pm same day with no one responding to it, even... though business open till 6 pm and when we came to the office around 4.40 pm same day because no one was accommodating proper response via the phone, the maintenance crew was sitting in the shade area by the leasing office on the golf carts, relaxing and using their cellphones. Once entered the office we were promised that someone will go check it out now. That came, looked at the broken AC and left with no updates to us. At this point our family of three, myself, my husband and 20 months old toddler, had to go out our way and book a hotel stay so we can have AC working. The temperature on our thermostat was 96 F, not much of the difference with outdoor.
Next day they told us it was fixed and we have to wait for temperatures to cool down since we are on the second floor. No resolution, it has gotten worse. We came to the office again just to be told to wait, because there is a line of people ahead of us with similar issues and we should just wait and no one knows for how long. At this point we are booking another hotel night stay, just to be safe and avoid staying in these inhuman, dangerous, health threatening conditions at our apartment where rent is always paid on time. On June 5, 2024, we came to office to get some answers and manager told us it will get fixed soon because someone broke our AC unit from outside and they need to order a part. We were installed a mobile type window unit AC. As of June 8, 2024, AC is not fixed, no one has answers and we are desperate.
