Disaster relief
Everyone had some degree of suffering during hurricane Michael but turtle lake was very good to us. First and foremost, in the aftermath of the disaster all residents had rent waved for 3 months, because of that we had time to look for new jobs, pay all our overdue bills and we were able to do Christmas which was a HUGE blessing. Second, the staff has always been nothing but kind and understanding and bend over backwards to meet any requests we have. Unfortunately, maintenance is very... understaffed but such can't be helped considering the situation and isn't permanent and will be remedied with due time. Even considering such they work as fast as possible. lastly, the community and residents mostly keep to themselves and are quiet.
The only negative thing I can say about turtle lake is the pest control company they hire (Brock) isn't worth the spare change I'm required to throw their way every month.
I was also sad to see all the beautiful trees that survived get cut down.
This was the first apartment my boyfriend and I have ever lived in together but we were well taken care of. I can only hope that our next apartment complex out of state will be even half as good. And I can assure you that once all the repairs are done they are going to be beautiful.

Dear Anonymous, We appreciate your feedback! The devastation caused by Hurricane Michael has been extremely difficult for everyone in our area. We are glad that we could help our residents when they needed it the most. We will continue to make the... needed repairs to our community and are looking for additional staffing in our maintenance department. We will share the thoughts about the pest control service to see where we can make improvements. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts. Let us know if your plans change and you decide to relocate to Panama City in the future. We would love to have you back with us.
Sincerely,
Shalonda
