What are they talking about . . .
Okay, I happened on this site and I also happen to live in Serenity Towers -- going on 2.5 years. I have no idea what the reviewers below who gave very incorrect, negative reviews are even talking about.
I LOVE living here (66 years old, active -- play golf twice a week). The vast majority of residents are very friendly and most know each other either by name or just by face. The staff (Robin, Sherri, John) are GREAT and friendly.
As far as maintenance, this place is extremely... well-maintained and it's also EXTREMELY clean. I've been here for 2.5 years and have NEVER seen a roach. In fact, pest control comes in quarterly as well as maintenance for the quarterly inspections inclusive of changing out the A/C filters, etc. Sidewalks and the building were also just professionally power-washed, the grounds are professionally maintained and are beautiful. The view overlooking Lake Monroe is a $1m view!
As far as safety, there is a parking lot and you can purchase assigned parking for, I think, $25 per month. I choose to park along Pine Avenue on the street and have had no problems. Again, I've been here 2.5 years and have never had any problem finding a parking spot right in front of the building. In fact, there's an additional 60+ diagonal spaces along first street right in front of the building and down toward the park. The person that talked about parking in abandoned houses -- huh??? -- what are you talking about -- not even remotely an accurate statement.
I see many, many, many residents family and friends coming to visit constantly. I believe the rule is a 2 week overnight stay per month -- reasonable since these are all 1 bedrooms. There are no guest suites -- as Serenity Towers -- also stated, so again, an inaccurate statement.
I could go on, but I think you, the Reader, get the point. Serenity Towers is a great place to live, downtown Sanford is constantly packed with people, I haven't seen or experienced any crime in this area during my 2.5 years here, there isn't a problem with anyone on the streets bothering anyone, etc. There is a Waitlist so you will need to get on that as soon as possible to get in.
Hope this helps clean up those unjustified (in my opinion) reviews. - Deni
