Avenue Lofts

This place is stunning and greatly places. But the good prices certainly reflects what they have to offer. Cheap appliances, no (working) washer dryer, horrible parking situation. Filthy filthy shades spaces like the elevator and the stairwells. Always pee and poop in them. Save yourself the trouble.

The pros:
The small businesses around really help give this place a cool and unique feel.
The rooftop view is nice.
The dog policy allows all breeds of dogs, I’m a big animal lover and appreciate that there is no breed restrictions.

The cons:
The place gets loitered by homeless and/or drug addicts on a more than comfortable basis.
I have discovered used needles when walking my dog in the morning, as well as witnessed people using needles in the stairway.
All of my appliances have had issues... more than once.
My ceiling had a pesky slow leak for 4 months before it was resolved.
My car was robbed, then set on fire in the parking garage.

I would have liked to have the businesses open on the bottom floor. They were supposed to open in October of 2019, but as of October 2020 nothing is open. It does look like a Kava House will be opening soon though, something to look forward too if you’re a future tenant.

Conclusion:
Right now, the cons outweigh the pros. I think if management were to replace appliances and hire a security guard or take some sort of preventive measure this place would be 5 star quality.

So happy with my decision to sign at the Avenue Lofts! The property is in great proximity of everything in Tampa area. Jordan, the property manager, is outstanding. You can tell she really cares about her residents and is very attentive to any requests.

Broken appliances, towed cars, faulty fire alarms, mold, and severely rusted balconies after only one year.
