The best apartment complex I've ever lived in hands down!

This place is very nice and welcoming. The office staff is always available to take my call and work orders get done same day 99% of the time! I am so thankful to be here and look forward many years to come! Clean and organized property!

The Reserve at Vero Beach is great. I've met so many wonderful friends. The staff is great. The apartments are beautiful. It's close to everything. I'm so happy to be here. I just love it here.

Wait List

I called this community and spoke to a Melissa, requesting information regarding an apartment for 9/18. She advised me that they were 100% booked and that there was a waiting list with seven people already waiting and that she couldn’t guarantee that she would have a vacancy for me in September. She advised that she could put me on the list but that I would have to pay an application fee for each occupant and a $300 holding fee to “hold the apartment”! So let me get this right...in order to... put my name on a list for an apartment 4 1/2 months from now that she can’t guarantee, she wants $300 to hold an apartment that she doesn’t have to hold??? She’s not holding anything, she’s only putting my name on a list. In addition, if come September she doesn’t have an apartment, the application fee is non-refundable! I don’t understand all these fees for something that doesn’t exist! I guess it’s just their way of holding onto money in excess of $300 from each of their 7 “holders”, getting interest on other peoples money, and then making you wait for them to refund your $300 when they feel like it. This is very poor business practice...customer service at its worst. A holding fee for something you don’t have to hold....I’m beyond speechless! ??

Hi! My name is Jennifer Bove, and I am the Manager at The Reserve at Vero Beach. I am very sorry for any confusion on our $300 holding deposit which holds someone's spot on the priority waitlist. If someone chooses to be on the priority waitlist... they are required to apply and pay the $50 for application processing and to pay the $300. This way, when we have an availabilty we have at this point approved them, and have the holding fee to apply to the new apartment security deposit. We always notify someone when something comes available when they are on the priority waitlist and if if we don't have anything they will of course get the $300 holding fee back. If someone doesn't want to be on our priority waitlist they can at any time check online to see if we have availability. Apartments go available online if we have no priority waitlist applicants for that specific apartment.
The best way to have the best chance in this full market is to apply for the waitlist. Many of our waitlist applicants are very flexible with move-in dates. It is harder for applicants with very specific move-in needs. Vero Beach is a very popular City, and also our residents are very happy here so we have little turn over and thus little availability. We are always upfront and tell people how many ahead of them and waiting for specific floorplans, and time frames. Also, we have to run everyone's criminal background, and credit history so the application fee will always be non-refundable and is a necessary tool in establishing whether someone is approved for occupancy. Please feel free to call me at 772-321-1990. Once again, I am sorry that you weren't understanding our Priority Waitlist or disagree with the $300. We wish we had more apartments to accomodate more residents in Vero Beach. Sincerely, Jennifer Bove
