Villas at Lake Smart Apartments

So I'll just cut to the chase and say renters beware! It is NOT at all what they try to portray it to be in the description. The playground is very, very small. The "volleyball court" is a net in a field beside the playground. The fitness room stays locked 24/7, because when it isn't the delinquents out here go in and break all the equipment. The residents who live out here are probably the biggest con to living out here. Very few follow the rules and very few have respect for others. At... the pool they go in it eating chicken wings, pizza, chips, and candy and leave food floating in it, they also leave trash all over the tables outside of the pool. They play basketball in the pool using an actual basketball and a life preserver for the hoop. They leave trash everywhere in the complex, the compactor is almost always full with trash stacked outside of it. People leave trash outside of their doors and on top of the vehicles which attracts vultures, raccoons, and every bug imaginable. The raccoons rip open the trash and drag it throughout the complex. All of what I've just described is against the rules, but the office doesn't enforce the rules and most residents look at the office as a joke. The maintenance is even worse than the office. The maintenance men are lazy and never want to fix ANYTHING. When you call and report a problem they tell you they've "placed a work order in the system" which is a blow off and rarely does a maintenance worker even come out. The rent is slightly less than other complexes, but that's the only pro and the list of cons goes on and on and on. Oh and by the way almost every building has a bed bug infestation.... they're the type of people in which tries to finesse you in moving into their place but after you move in it's like living in a dog pound not knowing when you're going to be Newton nice or if you're going to be set free before you even make the attempt to move in this place do a lot of research do your own inspections it's best to do things for yourself and find out information that is important to you before you move into the slum or this dump also if you are planning on moving in there make... sure you have bed bugs products takes products for roaches and landlord who only know how to insults you when you call and ask for help that's what it's like living in this place. If I could I would upload all of the video complaints I have of this place. They do NOT fix anything they attempt to insult you for complaining. I’ve called code enforcement 3 separate occasions just to get stuff fixed plus they go through management and staff members like the water through your fingers. They NEVER answer the phone and when you leave a messages they always say they didn’t get it the phones was down or something to that nature but pay your rent late they charge a $100.00 late fee... ... all of the apartments are roach infested so please be sure to bomb you place before you move in or the will continuously insult you and say you brought the roaches and then refuse to do anything to fix it no matter how clean your house is. If you complain and they come in your unit and see 1 fish in the sink they will tell you that’s why you have a bug problem. Because they can’t find anything better do to with their time. The corporate is a joke they love to tell tenants that the reason work orders don’t get complete is because they don’t have the budget . Save your self a headache n do not move here !!!! Lee mas

there was a kid popping the screen off of a window, trying to get in, when ask by a older lady if that was his apartment, he went on a torrent of cuss words at her. I couldn't get out of there fast enough, when I saw a man slapping a girl(friend) maybe, with his cell phone. Pictures are not what they seem to be. Like always, buyer beware.

I've been here for three years now. Dont have to worry about lawn care. Great neighbors. Love it
