The Summit of Athens Townhomes

During the first week I lived here, our AC broke (in the middle of July), and I had to sleep on the couch for 3 nights. During the second month in hurricane season, our roof started leaking. During my third month, the fridge stopped working, and everything in our fridge and freezer expired and we had to throw everything out and live wihout a fridge for a week. During the fourth month, I was using the elliptical in the fitness center (which has all old machines that rarely work), and the foot... pedal flew off and I fell off. During my fifth month, someone stole my jacket right in front of the security cameras. I called the police, and they told me to contact the leasing company. I did, and was never able to get in touch with someone. So yeah, if you want to feel safe and protected from crime, this probably isn't the place for you. During my sixth month, the fridge started leaking, and they never came to fix it. I'm in my seventh month now, and the fridge is broken AGAIN.

The kitchen is really tiny and the floor feels like it's about to fall in. I don't think there's a single wall or ceiling that doesn't have scuff marks from probably years of UGA students living here. Every once in a blue moon some undergrad female is screaming in her apartment or in the parking lot at midnight for fun. Oh, and there's cockroaches.

In all honesty, it's an okay place. I've lived in some really nice places, so take that into consideration when I say this is the worst place I've ever lived. The pool is really nice, but it isn't open for long. There are much worse places to live, but at this point I feel like the price I'm paying for rent isn't worth what I'm getting in return. If you have other options for places to live, I would suggest probably living somewhere else. Lee mas

At first, everything seems really nice. When you take a closer look, you realize that everything is actually really old, damaged, and/or falling apart. That goes for the clubhouse, grounds, amenities, and the apartment itself. Unfortunately, every month has brought a problem. During my first month, our AC broke (in July), and I had to sleep on the couch for 3 nights before they could finally fix it because it was so hot in my room (it got up to a toasty 81 degrees). During the second month,... which was hurricane season, our roof started leaking, and it took almost a week to fix. During the third month, our fridge stopped working, and all of our food spoiled and we had to throw everything out (groceries are expensive and we had to live on canned food for several days!). During the fourth month, the pedal flew off the elliptical while I was using it, and I almost got seriously hurt (also none of the treadmills work). During the fifth month- and this is the worst that has happened so far- someone stole my jacket right in front of the security cameras. The police told me to contact the apartment complex, but they never called me back or responded to my messages online. During the sixth month, our fidge started leaking. They never came. It's the seventh month now, and our fridge is leaking again. Even when maintenance comes, they leave dirt and leaves all over our floors and carpets and bathrooms. Also, there are cockroaches, despite us having them spray our apartment, buying my own $15 can of roach spray and spraying way more than you're supposed to, and keeping our apartment very clean. Really disappointed with this place. I can manage another few months before I get to move out, but I would never live here again. Lee mas

We love our Summit townhouse! Spacious three bedrooms in a two story unit. Tastefully furnished and perfect price for any student or young adult! Gorgeous pool as well to enjoy the hot Georgia summers. Love our apartment!
