The Prato at Midtown Apartamentos

Lived here for a few weeks. Initial impressions are good, no bugs so far, location is good, the leasing terms are very flexible with putting up decorations or curtains on the walls, which is good. The leasing staff is very friendly. Parking abundant if you know where to look (there are parking garages under every building, but I feel like a lot of residents don't know how to get to them. There is only one entrance to the parking garage for buildings 2, 3, and 4, with the garage making a large J... shape under all 3 buildings, so I guess it isn't obvious, but it only took me like 3 minutes to figure out.) My only complaint thus far is that maintenance is not the fastest, but that seems to be an issue everywhere, but my toilet valve was broken and I submitted a maintenance request and it was over a week before anyone fixed it. I had to fill a pot with water to "flush" the toilet.d Lee mas

You get what you pay for. Great location, affordable prices, unfriendly leasing office and inconsiderate neighbors.

The convenience of the proximity to major attractions in Atlanta coupled with the spacious floor plans make The Prato at Midtown a highly sought after place of residence.

I think the experience starts with the staff and the warm feeling of home you feel once you talk to them. They explain living in The Prato effortlessly and give great detailed answers to questions. I even met some of the other staff and residents. As stated before Ms. Sherry (manager), Ms. Alexus, Ms. Sherria, Mr. Leon, Mr. Anthony(supv. maint), DK and Jamal (maint) were all welcoming and shared information about the area as I was not familiar. There was a welcome packet given to me which... was extremely helpful with getting around the property and surrounding areas. Lee mas

My experience at Prato Midtown has felt like a scam. The only good part about this place is that it is close to my job and my children's schools. Otherwise, I spend most of my day killing bugs or trying to fix "completed" maintenance requested that were never truly completed. I hear rodents in my ceiling and though I pay $35 a month for valet trash I can count on my hands how many times they actually come a month. It just seems unfair and very mentally draining to continue double checking behind... maintenance or management to see if my requests have been reviewed or completed. I am a very low maintenance tenant, I do not like bothering others about my apartment issues but it is hard to do that living here. I need better communication and my service requests actually completed without me having to send emails or make reviews. Lee mas
