Park Place: Home, sweet, home
I have been a resident at Park Place by Highlands for a month now and I love it here. We moved out of State to Atlanta and I toured over 36 apartment complexes for 2.5 months before finally choosing Park Place. I was not looking for a 55+ community but I decided to check out the senior housing because of the need for an ADA apartment which was very hard to find in the Atlanta area. Our apartment is gorgeous with lots of natural light, excellent view, ADA features and tons of hot water for long... showers. The parking lot is huge and the trash chute is right next to our apartment. This complex is very peaceful and there is no smell of weed in the hallways. There is Northside Medical Hospital, 24 hours CVS pharmacy and every possible shopping I need located within 1-3 miles from the apartment. I talked to the Captain of EMS in Gwinnett County and the ambulance will gladly take my handicap family member to Emory which is very important to me. I saw one day that Fire Department were training to get on top of the buildings in Park Place in case of an emergency and thus the Lawrenceville community is definitely ready to serve the seniors in Park Place. However, the best part of Park Place are the leasing office staff, Kelly, Debi, Pablo and Mr. Admir!! They bend over backwards to accommodate the needs of the residents. They are extremely kind, compassionate and understanding. They do fun weekly activities for residents. If something breaks down, don’t you worry. Help is on the way in the form of Mr. Admir who will not only fix stuff but also make your day with his sense of humor. Such care to the residents is the vision of the owner of this apartment complex. His motto is “Resident First”! I have never experienced such hardship in locating an apartment in 33 years in USA and I was so distraught. Kelly, Debi and Pablo also acted as my mental health counsellors as they offered words of hope and helped me get settled in Park Place. After reading horrifying reviews of apartments in Atlanta area, Park Place is a breath of fresh air. So I feel obligated to write this review to get the word out about wonderful living experience for seniors in Lawrenceville.
