Not very empathetic
As a resident who has never had issue i am very displeased and upset on how the new apartment manager handled my concern. She was no empathetic at all, i can understand she may deal with rude residents but when I'm being respectful and explaining a situation i expect a property manager to show concern and try and help. I did not get that. I got cold shoulder, standoffish and a non empathetic energy from the new apartment manager Vanessa. I am a very polite person, very respectful thats how i was... raised, but when i called to see why i owe 81 dollars when i paid my rent in full, i was rudely told i payed on the 6th. I explained that my payment was not going thru the night before , they portal just kept loading and loading saying error and not taking my payment. I tried my payment again a few hours later around 7am that morning, payment went thru. But since my payment was not processing with the portal. I am at fault. I asked if i could have it waived but she rudely responded with i paid a day late not even caring about why i didn’t make the payment the night before. I don’t believe managers should handle residence in that manor especially when i am being very polite. I have contacted corporate in this matter and I'm waiting to hear back. Maybe someone in corporate can understand with a better tone and have empathy for a respectful resident.
